AS FAR AS I KNOW THE REDDS GO FAR BACK TO THE REYNOLDS PLANTATION. THE JOHN REDD IN MY FATHERS LINEAGE IS SUPPOSED TO BE RELATED TO R. J. REYNOLDS. THERE IS A LOT OF FAMILY NAMES THAT WERE PASSED DOWN FROM SON TO SON AND DAUGHTER TO DAUGHTER.

MY GRANDMOTHER WHO MARRIED FRANK REDD WHO IS THE BROTHER OF JOHN REDD, BENJAMIN, AND HOLLAND WESLEY REDD, CLARA REDD- BONOAN AND OTHER CHILDREN WHO BELONG TO JOHN REDD AND SARAH HALE.

THERE ARE JAMES, AND JOHNS, AND WESLEY'S AND SARAH'S AND SO FORTH THAT GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO 1700 IN CAROLINA AND ROANOAKE VIRGINIA. SOME I BELIEVE SRE FROM SALEM AS WELL.

I AM STILL RESEARCHING IN MY FATHERS FAMILY'S PAST. HIS MOTHER WHO WAS BORN IN 1893 TOLD OF A KEZIA REDD BEING IN THE FAMILY ON THE REYNOLDS PLANTATION.

IF YOU HAVE ANY FAMILIAR INFORMATION ON THE REDDS I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION YOU COULD GIVE.

THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING MY POST. ELLEN
