I am looking for info on the death of Preston Redd, born 20 June 1863 in Forsyth, Georgia, died 21 June 1918 in Kaufman, Texas, buried in Crandall Cemetery, Crandall, Kaufman, Texas in an unmarked grave. He was married to Galdys Bevins/Blevins and had children Elna (Elva), 1914-2008 and Dorothy, 1917.
We have a copy of his death certificate stating he was found dead, supposedly murdered. If anyone has any ideas or knowledge of possible newspapers with obits or police records from that time, we would really appreciate help in finding info and knowing what happened to him.
