Has anyone ever proven or disproven (by DNA testing or other reasonable means) if the Thomas Redd who married a Miss Farguson was related to the John Rudd who married Avis Whitaker? Please be aware that DNA testing, combined with some new/additional research, shows that the brothers George Brown and Alexander Brown, who each married a Miss Rudd (and who had a brother who was named Daniel Brown, with all three men being sons of "Old" William Brown who died in Henrico Co., VA in the 1730s), were NOT related to the Daniel Brown who married Elizabeth Coleman (and whose daughter married a Samuel Farguson....who was a brother of Thomas Redd's wife). Despite that, however, it would appear that there was still a "common link" between the Farguson family and both Thomas Redd and John Rudd (per another researcher, a Mr. Farguson witnessed the Will of John Rudd, as I recall). Any/all information on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
