My mother has an ancestor named Nathaniel Redington whose wife was Caroline Salmond (death record spelling). He was born in Richmond, Berkshire County, MA.We just found his and her tombstones yesterday in Orleans Township, Wheeler Cemetery, Ionia County Michigan just east of Beldingand north Orleans Road on the right side of the road. The stone states that Nathaniel was of Richmond, MASS.It looks like Caroline might be his second wife or some of the LDS records are wrong. Can anyone tell me more about them:Nathaniel and Caroline?George was also buried with them as well as an unreadable stone with a lamb on it and a Jane Redington who might have been married to George. She lived to 1902.George died in 1865 which makes me wonder if he died in the Civil War.I would appreciate any information and/or where to go for information.Thank you.Diane Mulford Barnum
