Actually -- I'm descended from Nathaniel and Caroline!Via their son Luther Porter.I would LOVE to trade info with you.Unfortunately, I have not been able to get more information on Caroline (though I have some interesting leads), but Nathaniel's line goes clear back to the 1300's.
As far as I know, Caroline is Nathaniel's one and only wife. They were apparently married in Massachusetts, as their first three children were born there.Nathaniel and family then came west to Ohio around 1830 or so, and then moved west to Michigan with Deacon Pierce in 1844.Nathaniel's daughter, Caroline, married Deacon Pierce's son, Adriel, in May 1844.
I have very little information on George -- if that is your line, I would love to hear from you!All I know (and much of it may be incorrect) is that he was born 11 May 1828 (which would make him a twin to his sister Caroline), and that he was buried in 1 Dec 1865 in Wheeler Cemetery, Ionia, Michigan.I only know of one child that he had, which died about age 10.
Hope that helps!
