Thank you very much for the reply. Interestingly enough, there are many JHR (either James Henry, or John Harlan, or James Harlan) in the Redington family. My grandfather's name is James (Jim) Henry Redington, son of Joseph John Redington.

From what I can gather, our family line comes from the Irish side. I have heard stories that Joseph John Redington fled to the United States during the potato famin.
There may be some additional resources that I haven't found yet.
