I am looking for a sister of your Redington. Hetty May Redington married James Pemberton in Decatur Co., IN in 1847 and they moved with John & Sarah Redington to Iowa in the late 1850's I need to find the names and dates of James and Hetty's children and who the girls married so I can extend my research. I know they had a daughter May, in the 1850 census who was a year old and then disappeared before 1860 so probably died in Decatur Co., IN. Then they had Sarah, age 7, Eliza age 4 and John T. age 4 or 7 months in the 1860 census in Benton Co., IA. I didn't find them in 1880 and if I found the right person hetty was alone in 1870 in Harrison, Benton Co., IA age 46. Hetty died in Benton Co., in 1911. I think James Pemberton died in 1865 in Memphis, TN a Civil War casualty. In the 1900 census in Harrison, benton, IA Hetty was alone, a widow and had five children born with two still living. Which two? And who was the fifth I have no name for?
