Hi there,

as you can see my name is Thomas Redmann and I live in Germany near Frankfurt. You are right, the name Redmann seems to be originated from parts of East-Germany, a region called Vorpommern or Posen. Today this belongs to Poland. Some of the Redmannīs come from the district of Bromberg in this region.
My grandfather Albert Redmann lived in Gorsin, Kreis (district) Bromberg.
