My gt gt grandfather, George Redrobe, ( born 1817/18, Liverpool) married Ann Warrington on 16 Feb 1845 at St Nicholas Church, Liverpool. George was a Shipwright.
They lived in Rishton Street in the Everton district of Liverpool where they had six sons, George (chr 8 Dec 1845); John (b 30 Nov 1848); James (b 1852); Alfred (chr 27 Mar 1854); Edmund (b 29 Sep 1861); William (b 1863)
and four daughters, Emily (chr 21 Dec 1848); Jane (b 18 Jun 1851); Lydia (chr 10 Dec 1855) and Sarah Ann (b 1858).

Sarah Ann had a daughter (out of wedlock) on 5 Dec 1880 and she was also named Sarah Ann. Young Sarah Ann Redrobe was brought up by her grandparents, George and Ann.

The young Sarah Ann married my Grandfather, Thomas James Taylor at St Georges Church, Everton, Liverpool on 18 Sep 1898.

Gt gt grandfather George Redrobe died in the quarter ending March 1882 aged 63.

Does any reader have a connection with their Family Tree?

Best Wishes

Tom Taylor
