About a year ago I found this inf. and contacted Pat Hallam and we exchanged what inf. we had with the intention of broadening our search.I have a rather extensive knowledge of my family tree and George Rees is the brother of my great great grandfather Frederick S. ReesOur family also has the generational habit explained in her family except Charles Bitters Rees and Frederick Stahl (sometimes Stall) Rees are interchanged. So Charles Bitters is the common denominator here.Over the past year, due to health issues on both sides, we have not been in touch, but I'd like now that I have some time to spend on it, to get back to it.My mother was Katherine Ann Rees, my uncle was Frederick S. Rees both off- spring of Charles Bitters Rees who disappeared from Phila shortly after returning ffrom Europe in 1903.He was accompanied by his wife "Annie Flemming Rees" who was then pregnant with my mother - born 7/6/03.Within the year, both parents disappeared leaving the two children to be cared for by his sister Catherine A. Rees Wildemore and her husband. They raised both children in Philadelphia. We have an entire tree and letters/papers back to Civil War communications between father, mother, and son who served Pa. Volunteers 91 in Spotsylvania, outside Richmond, and along the Rappahannock, contact [email protected].
