Pamela,
Yes I know the line well, particularly Lucinda (Lucy) Regan who married james Coffey in 1870. They had at least 14 children, one of which (Daniel) ended up in London.
Maurice Regan was a farmer and landholder in the mid 1800s, in Farranashesherry (nr Desertserges).
