Reuben's wife is an Eby. The "Leferve" name I suspect would come from her side. Reuben parents are Peter Reidenbach and Anna Brenner. He was born in 1795, she was born 8-9-1796, daughter of George Brenner and Ann Landis. (I believe we are cousins from at least 3 different surnames so far.) As far as I can figure out Peter is the son of Martin and Rachel Reidenbach, and that is the only child I have found of theirs, because all my records stop at 1800. Martin is the son of Peter Reidenbach (sr.) and and Elizabeth, both buried in Lehn's cemetary. Peter died 7-27-1820 and his will is on record in the Lancaster courthouse. As far as I can tell there are 2 separate (perhaps related somehow) lines of Reidenbachs in Lancaster Co. One came over from Berks Co. and ours. Peter I suspect is the grandson of Heini Riggenbach of Zegligen who was married to Barbara Thommen. He died abt 1741 in Leacock Township (where all these guys just happen to be from.) His will is also available. He had 4 sons, Hans Adam, Johannes, Jacob, and Heinrich. My money says Peter sr. is the son of one of those guys. Right now I am leaning toward John.
