This is what I have found in my research:
Johann Heinrich Reidenbach & Anna Apolonia ("Apolonia") Riegel. J. Heinrich was born about 1697 in Barweiler, Rheinland-Pfalz, the son of Peter Reidenbach. Apolonia was born about 5 Feb 1700 in Otzweiler, Rheinland-Pfalz, the daughter of Johann Jacob Riegel & Anna Elizabeth Adam.
Heinrich & Apolonia married 16 Jan 1719/20 in Becherbach. Barweiler, Otzweiler & Becherbach were tiny villages within walking distance of each other. These villages can be found on a modern map of Germany between Idar-Oberstein and Bad Kreuznach.
Becherbach Evangelical Lutheran Church records show christenings for eight of Heinrich and Apolonia's 12 children. The other four children were born after the family left Otzweiler and arrived in America.
The family arrived in Philadelphia on the Ship Glasgow in Sept 1738. Heinrich bought land in Tulpehocken Twp., then Lancaster Co., now Berks Co.
Heinrich died in Berks Co. in 1762 and Apolonia in 1769.
Their 12 children were: Johan Mattheis ("Matthew"); Johan Peter ("Peter"); Johan Adam ("Adam"); Anna Catharina; Johan Jacob Riegel; Anna Maria; Anna Amelia: Johan George ("George"); Maria Elizabeth; Maria Margaretha; Maria Sarah; and Heinrich ("Henry").
Johan (Peter) was my Great Great Great Grandfather, his son, Peter Tocumsca Radabaugh (name somehow changed spellings)was my Great Great Grandfather, and his daughter Kista Christina Radabaugh (Armstead) is my Great Grandmother, she and Peter Radabaugh were both born in West Virginia.
