Dear Mrs. Fox,
i justed found Your list of Reinardys on the web. I find this very interesting, as my grandmother is a Reinardy aswell. I traced back my Reinardy ancestors to the year 1776 (That should ring a bell to a lot of us-citizens ;-)), when my GrGrGrGrGrdad Johannes Josef Reinard married in Ahrweiler, Germany on February 2nd in 1776.
Ahrweiler is an town in the county of Rheinland-Pfalz, as is Trier. As Your ancestors are from New Trier, I suppose this city was founded by germans coming from the same county. Well, it would be great to hear from you and see, if we could exchange some data.
Best regards
Marcus, Germany
