DiAnn; The Reindl who mrd into our family came from Prague at a date later - in 1880s or 1890s. He was a Czech musician and taught the zither. You will quite often hear a German name in the Czech Republic because Bohemia was to Germany like the West was to the East in the US. Bohemia was the frontier for German tradesman and a few fortune seekers. Our Reindl had a Czech first name: Vladimir and had his own small cigar factory and store in the US - Chicago. Good luck.
