Rose B. Reinhardt, 99, of Boyne City, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.

Rose was born on June 8, 1910, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Coonrad and Corabelle Kiessling.

On May 4, 1929, she married Earl Fred Reinhardt at the Boyne City United Methodist Church.

Rose was one of the founding members who helped in the establishment of the Boyne City Senior Center. In 1977, Rose began to make quilts and dolls to raffle off to help raise funds for the project.

She was a member of the Walloon Lake Community Church.

Rose enjoyed a little of everything and over the years made thousands of cookies for the U.S.O.

Rose is survived by her children, Elaine (Lyle) West of Zavallla, Texas, Carol Heffington of Grand Rapids, and Warren Reinhardt of Boyne City; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Orville Kiessling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl, in 1977; son, Loren Reinhardt; three sisters, Lena Nicely, Helen Reed, Virginia Kiessling; brothers, Otto Kiessling, Louis Kiessling, Arnold Kiessling, Alfie Kiessling and Fred Kiessling.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, at the Walloon Lake Community Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jeff Ellis will be officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Boyne City.

The family requests memorial donations to be directed to the Walloon Lake Community Church Benevolent Fund.
