Cherished grandmother of Kelly, Erin, and James McKinstry; Alicia Sobieski and husband Matthew and Jason Reinhardt; Jenny Murase and husband Katsuyuki, Jill Gudgell and husband Dallas, and Eric Scheuerlein and wife Sara; Kevin Reinhardt and wife Marni, Keith Reinhardt and wife Amie, Janine Reinhardt and fiance Ben Albert, & Gregory Reinhardt; Matthew, Brian, & John Golden. Loving Nana of Cassandra and Angelica Sobieski; Emi, Lilia, and Kento Murase; Garen Roy & Andrea Faith Gudgell; Alana, Tyler and Logan Reinhardt. Memorial service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church inSeaford. Burial to follow at Long Island National Cemetery. Henry A. Tietz Resident of Cupertino Henry passed away peacefully on November 23, 2011 at the age of 92. A kind and caring man, he will be truly missed by his family. Henry was born in Oakland, CA on March 2,1919. He grew up in Oakland and graduated from UC Berkeley. He married Doris Reed in 1941 and settled in Walnut Creek and Lafayette. In 1950 he started his career with Shell Oil in accounting and treasury management. His career moved the family to New York, New Orleans & Houston. He retired in 1978 and they returned to Northern California living in Fall River Mills and Redding. After Doris died in 1998, Henry was fortunate to meet May Reinhardt, the final love of his life. They married in 2001 and moved to Cupertino in 2005. A family gathering is planned.
