Obituary

REINHART, Jr. RICHARD M., 63 of Cape May, died suddenly Tuesday at the AtlantiCare Medical Center Mainland Division, Galloway Township. Mr. Reinhart was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was a lifelong summer resident of Cape May, and he later made Cape May his home. He was the owner of List Counsellors, Inc, in Allentown, (a direct mail and marketing firm) for the past 15 years. He was a former DJ on the radio in Warminster, PA, where he worked for 13 years. He was a graduate of Marple/Newtown High School, and Muhlenberg College, both in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Cape Island Baptist Church, Cape May. He was the President of the Clam Shell Pitching Association in Cape May for the past 25 years, and still organized the annual cons on the Cape May beach. He was President of the Cape May Taxpayers Association, and served on the Cape May Revitalization Committee. He had a love and passion for Cape May, and worked in any way to make it a better community. He was a private plane pilot, logging many many hours. Mr. Reinhart was a supporter of Cape May Stage, and often attended their performances. Mr. Reinhart is survived by: his wife - Denise (Brooks) Reinhart, daughters, Stephanie (and Rodger) Stephens, of Havertown, Pa. Brooke (and Jason) Coleman, of Conshocken, Pa., sons, Robert (and Melanie) Reinhart, of Quakertown, Pa. Todd Sandler of Redondo Beach, CA. a sister, Sue Kelly, of North Wildwood and four grandchildren, Jake, Karley, Jack, and Luke. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday at 12:30p.m. in the Cape Island Baptist Church, Columbia & Guerney Streets, Cape May. Relatives and friends may call at the Church from 11a.m. to 12:30p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in his memory to either the Cape Island Baptist Church, or to Cape May Stage, both in Cape May. (Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, Cape May)
