has just 127 entries for REMP. There are nearly 5,000 for PACK, by contrast. I didn't try SMITH for fear of melting the modem.
There are two Stanley Remps who died in Pennsylvania, one b. 1911, one b. 1913. Yours is the 1913 one. The 1911 one is on

He looks to have been a Remp for at least two generations.

has some advice about query posts. Most people don't put phone numbers in posts. First, if you move or change phone companies, you'd have to go back and post a follow-up to every post with the new one. Second, if someone does call you with data, instead of posting here, no one else interested in the family will be able to see it. You may get the odd call from someone selling coats of arms, or other bogus genealogical trash, too.
