Dear George,

Regarding John Remsen, father of Catherine (Remsen) Van Siclen, have you information on his parentage?

And regarding John Van Sic[k]len and Elizabeth Jane Remsen, does Alfred Hunt Remsen, or have you by other means, documented her parentage? I had thus far found only these children for Richard Remsen and Jane Duryea:

John Remsen, born 8 April 1793, baptized 5 May 1793, died 20 November 1869, married Mary Rhodes. Named for his grandfather Duryea.

Abraham Duryea Remsen, baptized 1 January 1795, Success Reformed Dutch Church as the son of "Dirk Remsen and Jean Duryea."

Richard Remsen, baptized 22 April 1798, at the Success Reformed Dutch Church as the son of "Derick Remsen and Jane Duryea" Named for his grandfather Remsen?

Daniel D. Remsen, baptized 8 April 1804, also at the Success church (named for his uncle and great grandfather Duryea).

Will be grateful to have your expertise on this family group.

Yours,

Richard
