Dear George,

Thank you for your prompt response. The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society enjoys a well-deserved excellent reputation--no doubt due in large part to your efforts (I have now read a large assortment of your many contributions to the GenForums--and by the bye, I used to live in the Hunter's Point Historic District, near Court Square).

My area of study is Flatbush-New Lots, Brooklyn and the pioneer families of that section, with particular emphasis on the Duryeas, Van Siclens, Kouwenhovens and Stoothoffs. I hope you will feel free to call on me for genealogical queries, should the need arise.
