Roland,

There is no reference in the book, ANNALS OF NEWTOWN, of any Remsen family moving to Nova Scotia. Many Remsens are named in the 8 pageRemsen section of the book, including a variety of Johns and Jacobs (or the Dutch Jacobus), and there may be a likely match. However from your message I am not sure
whether Jacob was the father or the son of John and which was Elizabeth's father. Let me know the relationships and I will see what I can find. The family papers that I offered in my message have now gone, but I had made
copies and a check of them did not include anything likely to be helpful.

I tried sending the above in an e-mail message directly to you rather than posting it on this message board but my server notified me that there is a fatal flaw in your address! If this gets through to you perhaps you should check out ypur address!

Ed.
