Hi Tara, Good to hear from you. Nehemiah is the middle name. as you go back in the family its a first name. Heres an example, when searching a Grandmother of mine her maiden name ( last name) was Wines I was looking for her parents. Found a Warren Sylvester Wines for her father, went as I usally do go to several other Sites and found just Sylvester Wines another site and Just Warren Wines, obtained 4 census records He her father used Warren twice and Sylvester twice, I had thought once it was two different people until I checked out the children and Warren Sylvester Wines parents, My own older brother was Willard LeRoy Tuttle, He went as LeRoy his whole life after our Father died He went to Willard, Our father and grandfather were both Willard C. Tuttle but my Father was never called Jr or wrote Jr. My Dad lost his Father at the age of two and his mother at nine. I said all this to show how Names can be interchanged even in Census reports. Good luck in your searching Ken Tuttle of Quakertown Pa.
