Hello Hazel,
I finally obtained the marriage certificate I was after from the Registrar of Births/Marriages/Deaths Greenock, cost was 13 pounds, and I only had to send a letter with the details to obtain it.
I also had to send to Ireland for another marriage cert, they sent me back a form to complete, even although all the details needed were in the letter, cost in Ireland 7 pounds. Still working on the Renfrew history.
