RENICK - Meaning and Origin of Name
Posted by: Gary Radcliff (ID *****2476) Date: November 21, 2002 at 23:51:34

Renick is German and means to deliberate. It appears to be a shortened form of Reinicke.

There is a Medieval German name REINIG and it seems to mean "to purr." AS IN CAT? I don't know for sure.

My source is a name expert who still lives in Germany.
