Ralph Jenkins, are you still there? I read with great interest your posts about Joshua RENICK. He is supposed to have made trips back and forth between Ohio and Virginia, and that is the element that most fascinates me. His brothers lived in the Greeenbrier valley, and so did my ancestor Charles FRIEND, an associate of theirs. Charles FRIEND's mother was Bokavar, a Shawnee who had left her second husband in Virginia and gone to Ohio in the 1750's, and I believe lived where Joshua Renick also lived. Have you learned more about the identity of Joshua RENICK, possibly Moluntha? Do you know anything about his trips back and forth? He is not my ancestor, either, but he is much too fascinating not to do some research on.
