Hi again Maureen. My gg grandmother was Sarah Whitten Renick who came from a different line of the family than your relatives. You'd have to go back to the mid 1700's to connect the two sides in Pennsylvania. Here's what I have on your Samuel: B. Mar 10 1829, Clay Co MO, D. Feb 17 1880, Waco, TX. Marr. Artimesa Baber Dec 6 1855, Burnet, TX. Artimesa B. Apr 4 1838, Casey Co., KY, D. May 27 1892, Waco, TX. Samuel was the only child (I show) of Rev. Henry "Hailstone" Renick and Elizabeth King (Dau of Samuel King). Henry B. Feb 17 1802, Barren Co. KY, D. May 24 1874, Troxie Co. TX. Henry married Elizabeth Nov 29 1827, location unknown. Henry was at one time the pastor of Eden View Church, located in Lafayette Co. MO. If any of this is of help to you contact me at: amcray@swbell.net and I'll get you some more info.
