Betsy had three sons who returned with her from Ohio and on to the Greenbrier Valley in what is now West Virginia; William, Thomas, and Robert. Of course, Joshua remined with the Indians. He had two sons, John and James. Nothing is known about John. James and his mother were taken from an Indian village by Col. Logan from Ky. James later became known as Capt. Johnny Logan. There is more about this, if you would like know.
Robert Renick, born in captivity, was my G.G.G. grandfather. Feel free to contact me any time.
