Say Glenn, my Renick line descends in the following manner (Similar to yours).I found your posting at Gen Forum under Renick surname.
My line of Renicks come down through Thomas Renick born in Ireland, to William Renick I b, 1704 also from Ireland, to Henry b. Abt 1767 d. 1843 m. Prudence Hall, to Leonard Hall b. 1803 d. 1890 m. Jane "Jan" Porter, to William Harrison Renick b. 1841 d. 1929
m. Dora Jane Pallette, to Clifford Emmett Renick b. 1893 d. 1976 m. Rosa Viola (Johnson) (Bean), to Ola Marie Renick b. 1925 and stil living.
My questions are:
1.Do you have any information on Thomas Renick?
2.Do you have any information on William Renick I? We have always been told that he came from Ireland with six of his brothers. We have no idea if this is fact or fiction.
3. Starting with Leonard Renick and some of his descendents, I do have helpful information, that I am willing to share. I would also like to see what you have on this line.
4. William Harrison and Dora Jane (Pallette) Renick had at least 3-children. Hattie Renick b. 1884 d. 1903. Roy Renick b. 1889 d. 1961. Clifford Emmett Renick b. 1893 d. 1976. I have been unable to find where Hattie is buried. She died around Oak Grove Jackson County, MO. She had just graduated with honors from Oak Grove High School. Do you have any information on her.
5. Are you familiar with the surname "Pallette"? Dora Jane Pallette m. William Harrison Renick.
I look forwrd to hearing from you.
