I have just discovered this site and will let my sister know (she has done alot of research on our family who migrated from Jersey to Queensland in 1862).
Hopefully she can post information on this forum about the trees she has collated over time and after doing much searching in Australia, New Zealand and Jersey.
Please leave a follow up if you are part of a Renouf family who came to Brisbane in 1862 on an immigrant ship called the Golden City. Or any other Channel Island/Jersey families who arrived in Australia on this ship...... They were assisted immigrants, passages were paid for by the newly established Queensland Colonial Government of the time.
I will post another note when I let people know about this site (like my sister and a cousin) who have the hard information. And hopefully they open information to other Renouf families in thispart of the world.
