Hi Beki

Louisa Mary Jane Renouf is my grandmother's grandmother.

She emigrated to New Zealand as part of the Vogel assisted immigration scheme on the Assaye in 1874. She married James Duval Jeune of St Brelades, Jersey in 1875 and their son James Frederick Jeune was born in Auckland the following year.

My Grandmother's mother Louisa Annie Helena Jeune was born in 1879. I'm not sure when the family moved to Gisborne but in 1896 James Duval Jeune retires and transfers his Ship Chandlery business there to his son James Frederick.

I have further information on the NZ born Jeune family, if you want more, let me know. I would love to find out more about Louisa's maternal line if you have any knowledge of that.

Cheers,
Lisa.
