Elizabeth was John's mother not his wife.

Elizabeth was married to Nicholas Renouf (father: Nicholas Renouf and mother: Rachel Robert)on Oct. 27, 1846 in OH. She was born 1828 and died Jan. 30, 1899 in Tarentum PA and is buried in the Prospect Cemetery.

Elizabeth and Nicholas had 10 children and they are John Wesley m. Mary Angeline Eckels, Melzenia m. John T. McCall, Charlotta m. Luther Dickey, Daniel, Celia Almedia m. George Parker, Edward Britton m. Eliza Emmeline Eckles, Nicholas Bion m. Ruth Hughes, Thomas William m. Ellen R. Dyer, Angelina C., and Charles Benjamin.

Charlotta might be the one you are referring to as Charlotta Adelia. This is very possible for it seems somewhere in my papers I have some other information on her. Let me look somemore and I will send you what I find.

Nicholas (Elzabeth's husband) is the brother to my gggrandfather. I have family (on the Renouf's side) back to the mid 1700's and on Rachel Robert Renouf I have back into the 1600's.

Let me check my records and see what else I can come up with on Charlotta.

I just looked in my Family History program and I was right. Charlotta was John Wesley's sister and she married Luther Dickey and had 6 children.

I you would like further information please let me know.

Charlotte (Renouf) Hamilton
