I've finally found some of my lost Guernsey Renouf's viz Nicolas bapt 1 3 1803 town Church m Rachel Robert m 29 June 1822.I have only births of 4 children b St Martins Nicolasb 19 10 1822; Thomas b 7 April 1825; Rachelb 21 Aug 1827 John b 13 March 1830.

I would be most interested to find out more abouttheir migration to USA, marriages of these 4 and subsequent children b USA.

I can trace Nicolas back to James Renouf married Elizabeth Le Petit[ bapt 27 Nov 1702 Town church d o Pierre Le Petit and Elizabeth Marquand]on 7 Aug 1721at St Andrews.
They had 4 children James b 7 4 1723 d 7 July 1723; Elizabeth b 17 12 1724 d 17 4 1807 m James Arnold 17 12 1747; Nicolas b 30 1 1726 d 8 5 1811 m Elizabeth de Garis 23 11 1749 and Thomas bapt 14 9 1713 who married Elizabeth Gavet 31 1 1762.

Your Nicolas m Rachel R is s o Thomas Renouf b 17 7 1775m Marie Machon 10 3 1798. He was third son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gavet. I have his brothers and sister too

My line comes from James and Elizabeth Le Petit via Nicolas and Elizabeth de Garis

Would love to hear more about the US kin
