Hi Katharine, I have a Thomasse Renouf who married a James Renouf[ b 25 Nov 1655 of La Monnee] St Andrews 17 Nov 1681 They had 4 children Jean James Marie and Pierre. We believe that James b 8 Nov 1685 m Elizabeth Le Petit. My Renouf's all came from St. Andrews where they were farmers. The Renouf's were in Guernsey from 1033 coming from Calvados and Cotentin, Normandy in France as as Companions of William the Conqueror. One Ranulph Viscount of Bessin had a large fief in Guernsey.Would like to hear more of your Thomasse.
