Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Louvenia; My immigrant, Casper Repp, came to America in 1737, settling in Berks cty, PA and then relocating to Schuylkill cty. Casper was born in the village of Dauernheim, Hessen, Germany. We have visited the village and worshipped in the church in which he was baptized in 1716. There are other Repps in the church book. There are Repps still living in the village, but they know nothing of the ancestry. The descendants of Casper's son, Conrad (my line), eventually resettled in Medina cty, OH. The descendants of his other son, Heinrich, settled in Frederick cty, MD and then some relocated to southern OH (Cinncinnati and Dayton area). There were undoubtedly other descendants, but these are the only two sons of Casper I have been able to find. Glenn Repp.
