Glenn, please tell me if you have an idea of the siblings of your Casper(Caspar/Gaspar) Repp. My great grandfather was Frederick Repp who was born in Germany in 1840. He took his Oath of Allegiance in 1860 in PA. I have continually seen his and Casper's named in the same census as well as other documents, and was wondering if there could be a connection. Great grandfather somehow ended up in New Orleans, where he married my great grandmother Barbara Stein (Miller). Her first husband, I was told, perished at sea, by whom she had one son named Jacob. They were married in 1865 and removed to Iberville Parish, Louisiana. I do know that they left family "up north", as my uncle could remember her going to visit them.

I've been searching for anything on the two of them for over twelve years. So, any information/advise would be so greatly appreciated.

God's blessings and Happiest of Holidays to you and yours
Louvenia S. Solar
