I have a copy of the will of John Ressler of Earl Twp., Lancaster Co. in which he names his nine children: George, Henry, Jacob, Philip, Juliana, Elizabeth, Barbara, Catharine and Mary. Wife unnamed. The will was made on February 9, 1805 and his witnesses appeared before the magistrate on April 10, 1906. Exact date of death not given.
I also have a copy of the Letters of Administration for his son, George Ressler,of West Earl Twp. who died intestate on July 12, 1841. Wife unnamed. The children named are John (of West. Earl Twp., dec'd); Jacob (dec'd); Andrew Simmons & Leah (Ressler); Abraham Gittinger & Elizabeth (Ressler); Isaac Adams & Catharine (Ressler); Nancy Ressler; Samuel (dec'd) and Samuel's children Samuel & Peter. (Their guardian was Samuel Eberle, Esq.)
Would someone be kind enough to tell me more about John Sr. and George? Is John the Johan Heinrich who emigrated from Germany with his brothers?
