I believe Jacob (1817-1874) and Abraham (1820-1882) Ressler of Tipton Co. Indiana are sons of Solomon Ressler of Berks County PA. Solomon died before 1824, but his minor children are mentioned in the administration papers of Solomon's father, John Ressler, who died in 1824 in Richmond Twp., Berks Co., PA. Solomon and Elizabeth Ressler had 8 children. Several other sons including David and Joseph moved to Illinois as adults. Widow Elizabeth Ressler also mentions Abraham and Jacob in her 1840 Berks County will (available at the Berks County Courthous, Reading, PA). The courthouse has a web site and wills and administration papers can be ordered for a small fee. I am interested in finding John's father; I believe it is the immigrant, George Ressler, taxed in Berks County as early as 1754.
