They Had several Children, Lucy Revis Helton, George "Snead" Revis ( Who use to be sherrif of Leslie Co.) md Molly Asher,Martha Revis Baker md Sam Baker Elizabeth Revis Smallwood, James Revis who md Elizabeth Sizemore.
George "Snead" Revis and Molly had several children who settle in Ohio, just North of Cincinnati. James Revis, Net Revis Johnson, Polly Revis Maggard, John Revis ( died in WWII) Nora revis Vahn, Walter Revis, Carrie Revis, George Revis Jr., Bruce Revis, Grace Revis Taylor, and Fred Revis.
Lucy Revis Helton was my great grandmother. Her parents Henry and Sarah Revis are where I hit a wall. I know His Mother was ??Edith?? Beck who came to this county as a girl from Germany and His name I am not sure, May be George, John or Henry... but he was beat to death by Confederate soldiers for conspireing with the North. That is why Henery and His Brother John came to Clay COunty with 2 Asher men.
Please if anyone has any info.....HELP
