Barbara,
I am a descendant of Francis Revis through his daughter Martha Revis (m. George Lear) and granddaughter Agnes Lear who married Wyatt Crumpton. I have been looking for any Cherokee lines and have found a strong possibility in Louisa Curtis' ancestry. She was the daughter of William Verpo Curtis and
Martha Jane Lyle. Martha's father was Hezekiah Lyle, who I have reason to believe was of the Anson County, NC Lyle family which intermarried with the Cherokees. Do you have anything on this or more on the Revis line which you could share? It's one of my neglected lines and I would be delighted to get your information. I will share what I have, of course.
Ruth Gravitt
