I too am looking for this family. My g-grandfather was Louis B. Revis whose mother was Mary Revis based on the 1880 census data in Lauderdale County. Mary was living next door to Louis B. family with Imri Pitts and Lucy Ann Tennessee Revis Pitts. She was listed as mother-in-law. She was also shown as being blind. Louis B. and Lucy Ann Tennessee were apparently siblings of Mary.

Also found a R.H. Revis who marrried a F.A. Pitts in 1876 in Lauderdale County. Good possibility that these two people are also related to Revis and Pitts families we share.

Of interest to the Pitts line---We identified the mother of Imri as Lucinda M. Pitts whose father was Thomas Golding and Imri's father as Abner based on land deeded to Imri by his mother in Lauderdale County in 1874. Lucinda had a will in 1886 giving her son Imri one-sixth of her estate. Infomation was found in state library in Nashville in Lauderdale County records.

I have been stuck for some time trying to identify the Revis line prior to Louis B. who was born in 1847 in Tennessee. His father was born in NC and his mother was born in TN.

Any additional information will be appreciated.
