Reavis vs Revis 1811, Indiana

Our family has traced it's history through the Reavisville of NC through to Indiana. In 1811 an illiterate Reavis had his last name inadvertantly changed to Revis by a census taker. I grew up in extreme NE IL not having any contact with other family members beyond the direct decendants of my gandparents (Charles and Flora Nelson Revis) till after I was in my 40's. I have a book of our Revis linage now, self published by family in the Indianapolis area if anyone is interested. It traces back to an Edward Reavis that migrated from England. Also it includes the infamous "Baron of Arisona" Reavis. Thank you, Cindy Revis Cowsert Lieberg
