To the second Bill, :)
I have info on the Catherine Rex you mentioned who married Joseph Burson. She is connected to the Rex family that Doris Rex Schutte wrote about in the NGS Quarterly. I also have a copy of this article. If you want more info, email me. This Catherine is a granddaughter to the founding father, Hans Jurg Rex that Doris writes of.

As to the original question, I don't have any Catherine that died that day. Which isn't unusual. I may have their birth and just don't know where they moved to. You may want to check Troy Wood's site, he has more on western PA and Ohio Rex's than I do. His site is at: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/w/o/o/Troy-D-Wood/index.html

My mother is a Rex from the Rex family that's mentioned in the article. I have about 3000 Rex's (and adjoining families) in my database. I'm happy to help connect you back to the PA line if you get any further info.

Michelle
