Hi Monica,

I am a descendant of George Rex of Knysna and have some of the books one of the other forum members suggested you read. I live in Johannesburg South Africa and holiday in Plettenbergbay (near Knysna) each year, trying to find out more about my ancestors. I find it interesting to hear that their is a very similar American story to what we call the "romantic South African George Rex" story.

I would love to learn more.

Best regards,

Mike Rex
