I am a descendent of Jacob and Eva Rheingans, whose daughter Eva Rheingans was born in Germany 28 Oct 1844. She came with her parents to America abt. 1847 and married Christian F. Umbreit in October 1863. They settled in Minnesota. I'm wondering if "the Jacob line" you mention might be the same. If so, I would love to share information.
