My mom researched our direct ancestors back to a James Rohn, born about May, 1793. (My gr, gr, gr grandfather.) He was listed as having lived in Northampton and Lehigh Counties, also. Married Elizabeth, who was born about 1799. He then bought land, lived and died (Nov. 5, 1854) in Northumberland County. Childrens' names were Charles A, Simon, Ann, Susannah, Eliza, Fietta, and Catharine. Charles and Fietta born in Lehigh Cty. Some of the children married and resided in Northampton Cty, rest seem to reside in Northumberland Cty. Ann-married Elias Spangler and Susannah-married Henry Hock-both resided Northampton Cty; Eliza--married Peter Menges, Fietta married Benjamin Menges. Them and Catharine all resided in Northumberland Cty. (Found where the son,Charles A, had name changed from Rohn to Rhone.) Lookin for info on siblings, parents, or anyone related to James Rohn.
