Hi Patton,

According to the "History of Houston County, Texas", A Frank Rhone married Ida Morgan and they had three children. The only child mentioned is a daughter named Florence. The only other Rhone mentioned in the book is Hattie.

My greatgrandaunt, Mary Ann E. Nelson married a Rhone in Houston County (We think George W.). We believe this was her second marriage. We think she married a Shiflet first.

She had the following children that we have found:

A daughter Shiflet or Rhone m. ?McCauslin had a son named Chester McCauslin b. 1883.

A daughter Grace Rhone m. J. E. Allbright.

A son George M. "Bud" Rhone m. Alice T. Cain.

A son John Love Rhone b. 1880 in Brown County.

If any of these names are in your database, send me an e-mail.

Ray Hardy Nelson
