Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I hate to be a nay-sayer, but I have John Adolphus Rhone's father as being the p
roud husband of three wives. He also was one of the most colorful characters in
this family, also known as "Disappearing John", because he disappeared without
a trace one evening.

John H. Rhone Jr., b 1832, disappeared 6 Apr 1899 (not sure about that date)
+ Sarah Ann Nelson, b bef 1832 married 14 MAY 1853
Ellen Rhone, b 1857
Elizabeth Rhone, b about 1859
Lucy Rhone, b 1861
Sarah Jane Rhone, b 1862
Emma Rhone, b 1865
Rose Lola Rhone, b 1868
John Adolphus Rhone, b 1870
William Rhone, b unknown
+ Katherine Kryder, b bef 1832, married 1 FEB 1876
Laura Rhone, b 1877
+ Isabelle Confer, b 15 MAR 1852
John Oscar Rhone, b Jan 1880
Bertha Elizabeth Rhone, b 6 Apr 1881
Cora Rhone, b Feb 1884
Clara Rhone, b 1885
Caroline Rhone, b 17 Aug 1891
George E. Rhone, b 29 Aug 1893
Jessie Alberta Rhone, b Feb 1896
Wright Rhone, b unknown

All of the above info is in an ancestral file at www.familysearch.com. Just sea
rch for one of the names (or names) and you should be able to grab it. The info
is a little bit old. My cousin, Nancy Taylor, submitted it in 96, so some of t
he info may have changed. If you want to get hold of her, her email is njt5@psu
.edu.

Good Luck,
Jim Rupp
