Hello Dedrick,

I'm the grand-daughter of J.W. Rhone, and we're African-American. My great-great grandfather was James Rhone and his fathers name was the late rev. Muskogee or Muscoby,Moscoby Rhone. I not sure of the correct spelling of his name, and his wifes name was Molly Rhone. The were from San Antonio, Tx., until their divorce. Molly moved to Indiana with the girls and her husband stayed in Texas with the boy's one being my great-grandfather Jamer Rhone known as "Jim". I knew him well he said that after he grew up he married and moved away to Arkansas where he has one daughter still living, my aunt Delia Rhone. However, most of his descendents live here in Wichita, ks., St. Paul, MN., Chicago, Ill., and in Gary Indiana. Great Grand-pa died at the ripe old age of 97 and he was very much in his right mind. He died of cancer here in Wichita in July of 1998.

Well Dedrick I'm a talker when it comes to family and, or black history. I hope this information help in your quest to locate your Rhone family history. Good luck and God bless.

Please e-mail me if I can be of any assistance.

Rena pronounced (Renee)
