Gamaliel Warren lived at the north end of Tiverton, RI a mile and a half
to the eastward of Fall River, MA., on the road that leads from Fall River
to Dartmouth, MA where he had a comfortable home and about 30 acres of
land. October 30,1899, a council of the First Baptist Church of Fall
River(then Tiverton) met at Mr. Warren's house and ordained James Reed as
pastor, also Nathaniel Boomer and Joseph Stilwell as deacons.
